How often will I receive status updates on my project?

At up1 we emphasise transparent and continuous communication to keep you informed throughout the project. The frequency of status updates depends on the complexity and scope of the project, but we are happy to adapt to your individual needs. In general, we offer the following options:

1. Regular status meetings

  • Weekly updates: For most projects, we offer weekly status meetings where we discuss progress, next steps and any challenges. These regular meetings are a great opportunity to ask questions and make sure we are all on the same page.
  • Fortnightly updates: For projects with longer durations or less urgent needs, we also offer fortnightly updates if this suits your schedule better.

2. Agile projects (sprints)

  • Sprint-based updates: For projects that are carried out using agile methods such as Scrum, you will usually receive an update after each sprint (usually every 1-2 weeks). At the end of a sprint, we discuss the goals achieved and determine the next steps.
  • Daily stand-ups: In agile projects, there are often short daily ‘stand-up’ meetings (or written reports) that provide an overview of current tasks. These are optional, but helpful if you want a very close insight into the progress of the project.

3. Project management tools

  • Ongoing updates in real time: Using our project management tools such as Jira, Asana or Trello, you can track the progress of your project in real time at any time. Tasks, milestones and progress reports can be viewed transparently here so that you are always informed, even outside of regular meetings.

4. Ad-hoc updates as required

  • At important milestones: In addition to regular meetings, we will send you updates at key milestones, such as the completion of a feature, a design phase or a test.
  • On request: If you need additional information or an update at a specific time, we are flexible and ready to send you a status report at any time.

5. Summaries and reports

  • Weekly summaries: In addition to meetings, we provide written weekly summaries of project progress. These reports summarise all important events, progress, challenges and planned next steps.
  • Monthly reports**: For longer projects, we also produce more detailed monthly reports that provide a more in-depth analysis and overview of the overall project.

Conclusion:

At up1 you can expect regular status updates in the form of weekly or fortnightly meetings as well as at key milestones. For agile projects, we also offer sprint-based updates and daily stand-ups. In addition, real-time updates are available to you at any time via our project management tools. We are happy to adapt to your specific communication needs to ensure that you are always informed about the current project status!
